Shawgate Farm Guest House B & B - Shawgate Farm is a rural B & B ideally situated for Alton Towers, the Peak District & Churnet Valley Railway. It is run by James and his German wife, Nina. Painsley Catholic College, Cheadle

The school has German on the curriculum from Year 7 to the 6th Form. Painsley is involved with the Comenius exchange with a school in Dahn, Rheinland-Pfalz. They are successfully in their 3rd year of the exchange and they also run a Year 9 trip to to the Mittelrhein - Boppard area every year.
